MEDP’s members help New Yorkers save money and help the environment - by diverting “reusables” from the waste stream!
NYC Materials Exchange Development Program (MEDP) strengthens New York’s materials exchange and reuse sector by connecting, supporting and promoting New York's reuse organizations.
MEDP achieves these goals by 1) acting as a networking conduit that builds relationships between materials exchange organizations; 2) providing capacity building training that strengthens individual organizations; and 3) creating information resources that increase public awareness and access to these innovative waste prevention services.
MEDP provides its members with a range of services, including:
- Research & Development
- Donation Referrals through NYC WasteMatch
- Educational Opportunities
- Onsite Research Library
- Materials Exchange Conference
- Technical Assistance (workshops)
